Creating Your Account

Before you can start tracking your investments, you need a Metrifly account. This guide walks you through the sign-up process, email verification, and your first login.

What You Need

  • A valid email address you can access (used for sign-in and verification)
  • A password with at least 8 characters, including uppercase, lowercase, a number, and a special character

Step 1: Open the Sign-Up Page

  1. Go to the Metrifly sign-up page at metrifly.com/signup.
  2. You will see the account creation form.

Step 2: Fill In Your Details

  1. Enter your email address in the Email field.
  2. Enter a password that meets the requirements:
    • At least 8 characters
    • At least one uppercase letter (A-Z)
    • At least one lowercase letter (a-z)
    • At least one number (0-9)
    • At least one special character (e.g., !@#$%^&*)
  3. Re-enter your password in the Confirm Password field.
  4. Click Sign Up.

Use a password manager to generate and store a strong password. You will use this password every time you sign in.

Step 3: Verify Your Email

After clicking Sign Up, Metrifly sends a verification code to your email address.

  1. Open your email inbox and find the message from Metrifly (check your spam or junk folder if you do not see it within a few minutes).
  2. Copy the 6-digit verification code from the email.
  3. Return to the Metrifly verification page and enter the code.
  4. Click Verify.

The verification code expires after 24 hours. If it has expired, click Resend Code on the verification page to receive a new one.

Step 4: Sign In

Once verified, you are redirected to the login page.

  1. Enter your email and password.
  2. Click Sign In.
  3. You will land on the Portfolios page, ready to create your first portfolio.

Forgot Your Password?

If you forget your password at any point:

  1. Go to the password reset page.
  2. Enter the email address you signed up with.
  3. Click Send Reset Code.
  4. Check your email for the reset code.
  5. Enter the code and your new password on the reset page.
  6. Click Reset Password.
  7. Sign in with your new password.

Troubleshooting

Did not receive the verification emailCheck your spam/junk folder. Wait 2-3 minutes. Click Resend Code if needed.
Verification code is invalidMake sure you are copying the most recent code. Request a new one if the old one expired.
Password does not meet requirementsEnsure it has 8+ characters with uppercase, lowercase, number, and special character.
"An account with this email already exists"You may have already signed up. Try signing in or resetting your password.
