The top bar shows your currently selected portfolio. If you have multiple portfolios, use the dropdown to switch between them.

  • Holdings table: All your current positions with ticker, quantity, current value, gain/loss, and allocation percentage
  • Performance chart: Portfolio value over time with date range presets (7 Days, 1 Month, 3 Months, 6 Months, 1 Year, All Time)

From here, you can:

Holdings

Each holding represents one stock or asset in your portfolio. Holdings are automatically created when you record your first BUY transaction for a ticker.

The holding detail page has five tabs: Overview, Trades, Income, Notes, and Settings. Learn more in Understanding Holdings.

Transactions

Metrifly supports three transaction types:

  • BUY -- Purchase shares
  • SELL -- Sell shares (calculates realised gains using your chosen allocation method)
  • DIVIDEND -- Record dividend income

You can enter transactions manually one at a time, or import hundreds at once via CSV Import.

The Transactions page shows a filterable, sortable history across all your portfolios.
