ICICI Direct

ICICI Direct is an Indian online broker. Export your equity transaction statement as a CSV and import it into Metrifly with the ICICI Direct preset.

Export your transactions

1. Log in to ICICI Direct and go to Portfolio → Other Statements.
2. Open the Equity Transaction Statement.
3. Set the date range to cover all trades.
4. Download the statement as a CSV.

The file is a CSV.

Import into Metrifly

In the import wizard, choose ICICI Direct, upload your file, and review the mapping. See CSV Import for the full walkthrough.

Note

Trades on NSE and BSE are supported. Amounts are tracked in INR. NSE and BSE listings of the same symbol create separate holdings.

Broker scrip codes

ICICI Direct exports use short broker scrip codes in the Stock Symbol column (for example, STABAN instead of SBIN). Metrifly resolves these to standard tickers during import, using the ISIN column when available and falling back to name search.

If resolution fails, the holding appears with a Check symbol pill on your portfolio dashboard. To fix this:

1. Confirm the ISIN column is mapped in the import wizard (Metrifly can derive the correct ticker from ISIN alone).
2. Re-import or correct the transactions if the symbol is wrong.
3. Contact support if the holding still cannot be priced after a correct ISIN import.
